They plan their writing by drawing pictures in their writing books and share their piece of writing with their classmates when they're done.
They often write a recount about what they did the day before. Just like a reflection on their day. When they get back from school trips they write a recount about where they went and about what they learnt.
For Maths they write number equations and answer them. They use pipes and counters to solve their maths problems. They also use jars with a number on them like 100's 10's 1's to help them with hard maths problems.
For their recent Art unit they coloured in animals from the jungle and glued their own faces on a zoo keeper picture. They made a flower and they glued their faces on it. The students also created self portraits of themselves. They also cut out pictures and tried to figure out if they were new or old.They're very enthusiastic about their learning and we can't wait to visit them again.
