This term we have been learning about two different artists, Piet Mondrian and Wassily Kandinsky.
create our own cubist art
piece using no more than 3 coloured crayons and a black vivid.
Then we
looked at Wassily Kandinsky’s use of colour and circles. We used an
idea that Beth Carter came up with to paint circles using Kandinsky’s technique
and then use them as flowers on our trees. Our backgrounds where created using
crayon and dye and our trees are made from black paper.
We hope you like our interpretations of these artist's work. We love how our display looks at the Art Exhibition.
