Science Detectives and Creative Thinkers in Room 12

In Room 12, we have been very busy being science detectives and using our Makers Space time to create dinosaurs, space stations and things we love about Autumn.

Science Detectives
We have been learning about changes of state by mixing substances. Two of our experiments involved vinegar and baking soda. When we mixed them together we made balloons blow up and we made a rainbow.

Yesterday in the science area Room 12 did science. We mixed vinegar and baking soda. We put vinegar in a bottle and baking soda in a balloon. We stuck the balloon on the bottle and mixed it in the bottle. Then it exploded. The vinegar made carbon dioxide. By Jian
